Environment

The lab is using cryo-EM to investigate chromatin-associated complexes and is also interested in membrane protein research as well as new technology developments. The Armache laboratory is a member of the Penn State Center for Eukaryotic Gene Regulation, as well as the Huck Institutes of Life Sciences. Penn State offers state-of-the-art cryo-EM facilities including Titan Krios with Gatan K2/FEI Falcon 4 direct detectors and Volta phase plate, Talos Arctica with Falcon 4, Talos F200S with Falcon 3EC, and VitroJet cryo-EM freezing robot.

CAMPUS SECURITY CRIME STATISTICS: Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
